Panacela nyctopa (Eupterotidae)

The adult male and female moths are rather different. The male is brown with a double dark line across each forewing, and the forewing tips are hooked. The wingspan of the male is about 3.5 cms.The female is grey, sometimes with a dark spot in the middle of each forewing. The wingspan of the female is about 4.5 cms. The species occurs in Australia, in  Queensland, and  New South Wales.
