Palpita austrounionalis (Australian Jasmine Moth)

The species P. austrounionalis was described by Hiroshi Inoue, 1996-7-9, his 3 part "Revision of the genus Palpita Hubner (Crambidae, Pyraustinae) from the Eastern Palaearctic, Oriental and Australian Regions" Tinea: Japan Heterocerists' Society, Vol.15 Pt.1 & Pt.2 and Vol.16 Pt.1

Before this Australian collections erroneously called it P. unionalis which is found in Africa, Madagascar, S. Europe, Middle East, Afghanistan, Pakistahn, India & Napal. Hence the creation of P. austrounionalis for the Australian species.
