Not sure what this is but appears to be a winged ant-mimic to some extent, based on the body shape. The mouthparts, antennae and wing markings suggest it might be a wasp, so I've placed it under that category for now. As it was sighted under the eaves of a house, the images were taken with the camera inverted to provide the viewing perspective seen here.
