Thanks to Barbara for the initial sighting of what appears to be some type of ant mimicking Seed Bug. There were two of these ant-sized bugs working away on seed masses that had fallen from foliage above. Additional details of the larger of the two bugs is provided in following sighting 4548267 to help with identification.
