User's notes
Unsure if this is a pin-mould type of fungus or something else. It was sighted 2m above the ground on the vertical side of a eucalypt. About 15mm in diameter and comprising many pin like projections with what appeared to be spores, some of which had broken away leaving a skeletal structure behind. The 'spores' were on the lower side of the overall object. The first two images have been rotated clockwise to provide a better perspective for viewing, so 'down' is to the left. With the third image, 'down' is to the right. The fourth image is taken from underneath looking up at the object. The final image is a front on view.
