User's notes

The bird had spent an hour drying itself on a channel marker out in the bay before flying off out into the bay to gain altitude, and then returning at high level to fly overhead and inland.

Hi @Liam.m Thanks for this. There were four of these birds seen in this area over a short time, two of which were perched together on a channel marker. The bird in this sighting was one of the two on the channel marker. I'll post the images of the other three birds shortly. Tim
