User's notes

Whilst there are different species of birds in the images, the sighting is intended to record the Eastern Curlews. Various birds including the Eastern Curlews flew into Oyster Point in several waves, settling on the high tide shoreline. Shortly before we left, two of us each counted the Eastern Curlews seen in the final image and came up with a total of 55 birds. There were other Eastern Curlews spread out along the Oyster Point shoreline, separate from the birds in these images.
