Eight mud skippers were sighted in a small area of mud flats as the tide went out. They were very wary and difficult to approach so these images of two of them were taken with a telephoto lens from some distance away. Unsure as to the category for these. I believe they are fish. Possibly Periophthalminae, of the family Oxydercidae.
