User's notes

Two blades of Lomandra grass (?) had what appeared to be a mass of hairs caught on the underside. Closer inspection showed these to be scale insects which produced very long and fine strands of scale as group protection. This sighting shows the insects on one blade. The scale insects on the other blade are shown in sighting 4505660. Thanks to Barbara for help with this sighting.
