I am sure this is the same moth referred to as Scopula desita in sightings 4501849, 4503359 & 4499973. The discal spot on the forewing does not seem to be present in Ectropis excursaria

OK, you are absolutely correct . S. desita with the discal spot is a relatively new species for me!
