Pseudanapaea sp Limacodidae
One difference between P. denotata and P. transvestita is that the three medial spots near the dorsum are outlined in white in P. transvestit, ochreous in denotata. Also the cilia of denotata is pale ochreous with brown bars, more or less grey in transvestita. Though not always clear, this image is most likely denotata.
I'm not sure the distinctions you outline hold true. On the ALA it would appear not, but the ALA is not a mentored site. On Canberra Nature Map all three Pseudanapaea spp. are grouped together on the understanding its difficult to separate them on sight reords alone.
