User's notes

Unsure what type of ant this is. It was sighted at rest on a leaf during a relatively cold morning. The ant was inactive until it appeared to clean one of its legs with its jaws and then disappeared into the foliage. It appeared to have a seam running down the length of its body which closer scrutiny of the images appears to show as folded back wings. The legs had quite distinct swollen lumps on them similar to those seen on Muscleman Tree Ants. Additional images are provided in following sighting 4498342 to help with identification.

Possibly an ant-mimicking longhorn beetle, Ochrya coaretata, fam. cerambycidae?
