At low tide, sand and mud flats extend some distance out from King Island. At the furthest edge of the flats from the island there were many different sea birds and innumerable small crabs. The sighting shows two of the crabs. They were extremely wary of any movement, so the images were taken from some distance away as the crabs briefly emerged from the sand.
