User's notes

The sand bank to King Island was exposed during low tide and this crab was sighted on the sand bank, brought to the surface by a close-by footprint in the sand. The crab looked like a bright piece of plastic in the sand, about 20mm in diameter (excluding its spread legs), and initially didn't move. Once disturbed it crawled sideways into the sand. Thanks to Barbara for the initial sighting.
