The dragonfly showed signs of age including wing wear and damage as well as scratches to the body. The fourth image shows the dragonfly at rest with its front legs drawn up around the head, a posture which can be seen with dragonflies in flight and when hovering. The final image shows close up detail of the complex structure on the Dragonfly's back which operates its wings. The structure is apparently connected to muscles within the external skeleton which flex the skeleton and hence operate the wings.
