The second to fifth images show this Long-legged fly doing a 'Crazy Fly' manouvre which typically occurs when the camera pre-flash goes off. The fly was initially in the centre of each image and as the pre-flash went off it did a high speed backwards jump, usually returning to the spot it had just left. The flash and high shutter speed have caught the fly in mid-jump. The first image was taken after the fly did a series of jumps and then gave up.
