Southern Hemisphere Smelts and Graylings (Order: Osmeriformes)

 

Within the families of Retropinnidae and Prototroctidae, one species within each of the genera Prototroctes and Retropinna, namely Australian Grayling (P. maraena) and Australian Smelt (R. semoni) are found in CNM region.
