Thanks for the comment, Clare. I am trying to learn hopper ID partly in response to an (entirely reasonable) moderator request for me to suggest IDs for the common ones and partly to narrow the field focus on which of millions of hoppers I will spend time and energy to photograph and load up. I believe I am making some progress but I do wish they each species only had one narrow band of colour range, just one instar, as well as zero dimorphism.

G.opomaloides has a flatter Pronotum. The other two Goniaea sp. on CNM have an arched pronotum like yours. I've taken a guess due to the colouring and white antennae tipsbut ill let Roger i.d. it.
