I put this up as there appear to be two little babies in the centre there. I was going to put in a breeding behaviour, but not sure what to put. I did see this species of ant in other spots around this reserve also.
Hi Christine, the small animals in the picture are not baby ants. Ants start as eggs, hatch out as larvae and grow in size (through several instars) before pupating into a full adult ant. I think the other organisms look like some sort of Collembola. Cheers, Jon
